Since the past few months, a lot of rumors and leaks have surfaced about the OnePlus 8T. And the device will finally be making its public appearance on October 14.

Well, basically, OnePlus releases its T-series phones in September. But nothing has gone down according to plan in 2020. So is the launch of OnePlus's next T-series phone.

This piece of information comes from MySmartPrice and well-known tipster Ishan Agarwal. However, the tipster adds that there can be last-minute changes due to the pandemic.

But if all goes according to plan, OnePlus will definitely reveal the OnePlus 8T on October 14 in an online event. We expect it to follow the same YouTube stream format like the OnePlus 8 series, released earlier this year.

Note that the OnePlus 7T was released along with the OnePlus TV Q1 series of Android TVs back in September 2019. Fortunately, back in 2019, we were not going through a worldwide pandemic.

Because of coronavirus, everything is going through a phase of change and so are the smartphone and other technology products launch events.

OnePlus 8T could sport the familiar 120Hz refresh rate display

As per the leaks, the OnePlus 8T could very well feature the 120Hz refresh rate after OnePlus 8 Pro. The phone is expected to pack a quad-camera setup housed in an L-shaped module.

Talking about the cameras, the OnePlus 8T will come with the 48MP primary lens, 16MP ultrawide lens, 5MP macro shooter, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it is speculated to pack a 32MP selfie shooter.

The front display will come with a punch hole that will be on the right corner of the display. It is expected to be a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display.

Under the hood, OnePlus 8T will come with Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. The device will be available in two options including 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage and 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The device is expected to pack a 4,500 mAh battery and is rumored to support 64W fast charging. But that is something we don't might happen.

Moreover, OnePlus 8T will come with 5G support and NFC. Besides, it is rumored to come out of the box with Android 11 OxygenOS 11 skin.

Wireless charging is here to stay on the device, just like the OnePlus 8 Pro. Note that these are all rumored specs and nothing is officially confirmed. So, we would advise our readers to take this piece of information with a pinch of salt.
