OnePlus has launched a new version of the OnePlus 7T, the phone now comes in white color. This is a special edition of the phone that got announced in China. It’s officially called the OnePlus 7T Champagne White.

The company announced this variant of the device to celebrate its success, really. The phone reaches the end of its life cycle, pretty much, as it was announced about a year ago. We all know that the OnePlus 8T is right around the corner.

This variant of the OnePlus 7T is called ‘Champagne White’

The OnePlus 7T Champagne White comes with a white back, and a shiny silver frame. Its back frame is not shiny, it has a matte finish, so fingerprint should be well-concealed.

Now, this variant of the device comes with 8GB of RAM, though we’re not sure about its storage. It will likely pack in 256GB of internal storage, though, not 128GB.

The rest of its specs are pretty much the same as on the regular model. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, while it ships with Android 10. On top of it, it runs HydrogenOS.

As most of you know, OnePlus’ devices in China ship with HydrogenOS, not OxygenOS. That is basically OnePlus software for the Chinese market. If this phone ever reaches other markets, it will ship with OxygenOS.

The phone probably won’t be launched globally

It is not that likely it will reach any other market, though. The OnePlus 8T is right around the corner, it will launch either this or next month. So, OnePlus probably can’t justify launching this OnePlus 7T variant globally.

The OnePlus 7T is made out of metal and glass, and it features that round camera module on the back. It comes with a flat display, and its back side is curved towards the edges.

The phone features a 6.55-inch fullHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It includes three cameras on its back, 48, 12, and 16-megapixel units. A single 16-megapixel camera is located on the front.

Stereo speakers are included, while a 3.5mm headphone jack is not. It does include two SIM card slots, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. A 3,800mAh battery is also a part of the package.

The phone does support 30W fast wired charging, though wireless charging is not supported. The phone also retained the exact same measurements as the same model, of course.

It is unknown how much this phone will cost in China, but chances are its price tag won’t be changed.
