Motorola has just released the Moto Razr 5G smartphone, which is, obviously, the 5G variant of the Razr launched back in 2019. The device does not come with flagship specs but is priced at $1,399.

It will some tough competition going ahead against the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Our bet would be on the Galaxy Z Flip as it packs flagship specs for the asking price.

Moreover, the latest leaks suggest that the company has not confined itself to that folding Razr phone. And is actually working on a budget smartphone Motorola Kiev.

This piece of information comes from TechnikNews. Besides, the source has revealed the actual name, model number along with some other important specifications of the device.

Interestingly, it will be a 5G enabled smartphone, which is nice to see. It is good to see that 5G is soon going to become the new normal as the future rests in 5G.

Notably, Motorola Kiev will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. On top of that, there will be a dedicated microSD card slot for further storage expansion.

The display will be an OLED panel with FHD resolution and will be equipped with HDR support. No high refresh rate here, because it will sport a 60Hz refresh rate display.

Motorola Kiev's display size is not known at the moment. However, it is expected that it will come with a notch or punch-hole for the selfie camera.

It is rumored to pack a triple-camera setup with 48MP primary lens

Coming to probably the most important aspect of smartphones lately, the cameras. The phone is rumored to equip a triple-camera setup.

The primary lens would be the 48MP Samsung GM1 primary sensor, with an 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 sensor with a telephoto lens, and a 2MP OmniVision OV02B10.

For selfies, the phone will pack a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q sensor. The camera module looks capable, but we will have to test it out in the real-world environment.

Sadly though, as reported, it will be running on Android 10, even though Android 11 is out already. The phone will also house features like NFC and will come in two variants with model number XT2113-2 and XT2113-3, respectively.

There is no information on when this smartphone will be out for the masses. We will keep our eyes on the lookout for any further developments in this regard.
