LG's latest new phone, for the time being, called the Wing Phone is going to arrive sooner than we have expected. LG will be unveiling this device on September 14.
After some hard-hitting rumors surrounding this new LG Wing Phone, finally, the OEM took the wraps off the phone. This new dual-screen design swivels sideways.
This is a unique concept and no other brand has tried this type of dual-screen device. LG is calling this as "Explorer Project" and has also released a 30-second teaser video of this device.
Just a few days ago, we reported that the LG Wing Phone is going to be pretty hefty for your wallet. If the rumors are to be believed the phone is going to cost around $1000.
However, considering the fact that we have devices from Samsung, Huawei, and others costing over $1000, this should not be a problem for technology enthusiasts.
But one area where LG has to provide compelling results is the durability of the device. Moreover, LG has termed this Explorer project as a category and an initiative.
Notably, the devices under this Explorer Project will include devices that will be distinctive in design and try to explore the unexplored usability experience.
LG Explorer Project devices will elevate the mobile viewing experience
The official blog post reveals that LG is collaborating with industry partners like Rave, Ficto, Tubi, and NAVER. This partnership will allow LG to bring great mobile viewing experiencing under the Explorer Project devices.
LG's collaboration with Rave would provide users to communicate and enjoy streaming content together. While Tubi is the largest ad-free streaming partner for Explorer Project devices.
Well, the company is also working with South Korean search leader NAVER, to develop a browser that will cater to the unique designs of the Explorer Project devices.
Besides, all the devices under LG Explorer Project like this Wing-shape phone will be powered by the Snapdragon processors. And the company is claiming to touch the untapped areas of phone design.
Based on previous rumors, the LG Wing Phone will pack a 6.8-inch primary display along with a smaller 4-inch display. The secondary display is speculated to sport a 1:1 aspect ratio.
The phone is rumored to come with a 64 MP camera. Under the hood, the phone should equip the Snapdragon 765G or 768G SoC with 5G support.
This new LG Wing-Phone under the Explorer Project innovative will be announced on September 14 at 10:00 AM EDT (7:30 PM IST). The announcement will go live on LG Mobile’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page.
