JBL today introduced its latest pair of true wireless earbuds called the Club Pro+.
The company's latest offering in the true wireless market delivers some of the same features you'd expect from products in this category. But they also offer features you may not see anywhere else. Which makes them all the more exciting.
The JBL Club Pro+ true wireless earbuds are also priced fairly competitively, especially comparing them to the CX 400BT that Sennheiser announced just yesterday.
Of course one of the more standout features that should catch your eye is the Adaptive Noise Cancelling.
JBL Club Pro+ true wireless earbuds adapt to background noise
Active Noise Cancelling is definitely a good feature to have on headphones if you love your media.
Sometimes you just don't want to be bothered and prefer to block everything out if you can. These earbuds will let you do that. It's not Active Noise Cancelling though. JBL calls it Adaptive Noise Cancelling with Smart Ambient technology, because it can adjust the earbuds to let in background noise if you need to hear your surroundings.
There are numerous situations where this would be useful. But perhaps none more notable than when you're out for a run, walk, or a bike ride. For safety reasons, it can be a good idea to allow a little bit of noise in to avoid potential traffic accidents. Or just to ensure that you're completely aware of what's happening around you.
It also features three microphones so voice calls are clear. Calls aren't always great on wireless earbuds. So anything that helps improve them is a benefit that is worth keeping your attention.
Battery life isn't too shabby, and they charge wirelessly
As always one of the main points of contention with some true wireless earbuds is battery life. Some don't last very long and that can be a problem.
Because if the earbuds won't last close to half the day then you'll be charging them constantly. At least if you use them often. JBL says this shouldn't be an issue as the Club Pro+ can last for up to 8 hours on a single charge, or up to 6 hours if you're using the ANC feature.
Beyond that, if you need more listening time then you can toss these in the case for up to 24 hours of battery life in total. The case supports wireless charging too, and they support speed charge so you can get 1 hour's worth of listening time in a mere 10 minutes.
All in all that isn't too bad. In a world of options, it's not hard to find true wireless earbuds that will have long-lasting battery life. Where the challenge comes from is finding a pair that has long-lasting battery life, good (or great) audio quality, and have a stylish design and other good features without costing too much.
