You Can Pre-Order The Google Pixel 4a Today

Google announced the Pixel 4a today, and you can already pre-order it.

It's available now from both the Google Store, Best Buy and Amazon. It'll come to Verizon and US Cellular later this month.

The Pixel 4a is unlocked and will work on all US carriers – unless, of course, you buy it from a carrier. This includes AT&T, T-Mobile (Sprint) and Verizon. Just pop in your SIM card and you're good to go.

Before you run off and pre-order your shiny new Pixel 4a, you might want to take a look at our review of the device. So you can see if you should spend the $350 that it actually costs.

How to pre-order the Pixel 4a

As mentioned, you can pre-order from either the Google Store or from Amazon and Best Buy's websites. Which you can do so here.

Pre-orders opened today, August 3, and the device will be shipping by August 20. So there's about two and a half weeks before you'll actually get the 4a. However, the later you wait, the longer you may have to wait to get the phone. Depending on how many people actually pre-order it.

Both the Google Store and Amazon have it available unlocked, however if you wish to buy it from a carrier and finance it. Well your options are a bit limited.

Right now, no carriers are doing pre-orders for the Pixel 4a. But Verizon and US Cellular will be selling the device later on. When it actually launches on August 20. So you will have to wait a few more weeks for it. Additionally,  T-Mobile and AT&T aren't selling it.

Thankfully the unlocked model does work perfectly fine on both of those carriers though.

If you are on Google Fi, you can still finance it through Fi. Or you can just finance through the Google Store, if you really wanted to.

Any pre-order bonuses?

Typically, these cheaper phones do not come with any pre-order bonuses, that's saved for the flagships that are obscenely more expensive. And that's the case here.

However, you can bundle the Pixel 4a with a fabric case from Amazon for $389. Which isn't much of a "sale" honestly, as the case does cost $40 anyways, so you're not saving anything here. Other than getting a case with your phone, so it can be protected as soon as you get it.

Best Buy, however is offering $100 off, if you activate the phone today.
