The OnePlus Nord will be getting a new color variant in the near future. This information has been revealed by Roland Quandt, a well-known tipster. It was corroborated by Max J., yet another reliable source.

The source mentioned that this color option will be coming in October. If you’re wondering what it is, it’s the ‘Gray Ash’ variant. We still don’t have an image of it, but it will be gray, as its name says.

Yet another gray OnePlus Nord color variant is coming

We still don’t know if it’ll offer glossy or matte finish, though, but we’re probably looking at a matte finish. The OnePlus Nord is already available in both Gray Onyx and Blue Marble color options.

That being said, this ‘Gray Ash’ variant will need to differentiate itself from the Gray Onyx model. That’s why it’ll probably have a matte finish, and probably a different shade of gray as well.

The OnePlus Nord has been on sale for a short while now, and it’s currently facing some delays in shipping. That is happening in Europe. So, either consumers are extremely interested in it, or OnePlus did not have a lot of these devices in stock.

For parts of Europe, it’s saying that the phone will ship in three weeks, while it was shipping within 24 hours when it became available. In addition to two color options, the device also comes in two different RAM and storage models.

You can get the device in both 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, which come with 128GB and 256GB of storage, respectively. Both color options are available in different RAM and storage setups.

We’re not sure what will the case be with the Gray Ash variant. Chances are that model will also be available in both setups, but we’ll have to wait and see.

This is the company's first mid-ranger after the OnePlus X

The OnePlus Nord is the company’s first mid-range smartphone after the OnePlus X. OnePlus did not release a mid-range phone for a long time. This device does feel premium, though, and it offers really nice specs.

The phone is made out of metal and glass. It sports a pill-shaped display camera hole, and a flat display. Its bezels are quite thin, and there are four cameras included on the back of the phone.

The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 765G 64-bit octa-core processor. It features a 6.44-inch fullHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. Android 10 comes pre-installed, along with OnePlus OxygenOS 10.5.4 skin.

A 4,115mAh battery is also a part of the package, as is 30W fast wired charging. Wireless charging is not supported here, nor is reverse wireless charging.
