Earlier this week, Fitbit announced three new fitness trackers – Sense, Versa 3 and Inspire 2 – all of them are now up for pre-orders. All three will begin shipping on September 25.
The Fitbit Sense is the company’s brand new fitness tracker, well it’s really a smartwatch. But Fitbit has designed it with an all new, button-less design, and packed a bunch of new sensors inside. Which is why it is the most expensive tracker that the company has ever made. Even more than the Ionic was, at $299.
Sense is a really cool looking smartwatch from Fitbit. It now supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant – big surprise, since Google bought Fitbit. You’ll get up to six days of battery life out of this tracker, which is honestly fairly impressive. Since it has a vibrant color display, and it is also always tracking you. Not quite on the same level as the Huawei Watch GT though. But far better than most smartwatches from Samsung and those running Wear OS.
The Versa 3 is the true successor to the Versa 2. There’s not many surprises here. Upgrades in all the places you’d expect. Then there is the Inspire 2. Which is also a pretty small upgrade to the Inspire. And it’s still $99. Making it a great entry-level fitness tracker.
How much are these new Fitbit trackers?
The Fitbit Sense is the most expensive, starting at $329 in the US. Canadians will need to fork over $429.
In Europe, the Sense is going to cost €329.95. And in India it’ll be ₹33,999.00.
Fitbit Versa 3 is a bit cheaper, starting at $229 in the US. In Canada it’ll cost $299.95, €229.95 in Europe and ₹25,999.00 in India.
Finally, the Inspire 2, the cheapest of the bunch. It’s going to cost $99 in the US and $129.95 in Canada. Across the pond in Europe, it’s going to be €99.95 and ₹10,999.00 in India.
Where can I pre-order mine?
Currently, pre-orders are available at Amazon, Fitbit.com and Best Buy. As mentioned already, all three trackers are set to start shipping on September 25.
Once the pre-order phase is over with, we should see the Sense, Versa 3 and Inspire 2 available at other retailers that currently sell Fitbit devices.
