The ASUS ZenFone 7 is expected to launch in two days, and its design has finally been revealed. A couple of real-life images have surfaced, showing us the design of the ASUS ZenFone 7.
Unfortunately, only the back side of the device is shown here. Luckily for us, that’s the most interesting part of this phone, due to its flip camera on the back. Speaking of which, some of the phone’s specs surfaced as well, along with a retail box.
The ASUS ZenFone 7 (partial) design has finally been revealed
Let’s talk about the design first. Two separate Twitter handles shared this design, the first one shared the phone’s image (its back side), its charger, and charging cable. On top of that, this user also shared the phone’s specs.
The second source offers yet another image of the phone’s back, along with its retail box. As you can see in the gallery below the article, the retail box will be quite minimalistic.
You can clearly see that the phone will be made out of metal and glass. Its back side is curved towards the left and right sides, and ASUS’ branding is included on the back, vertically.
You can clearly see that the flip camera is included, and that it contains three sensors there. That camera module does protrude on the back, just a little bit, though.
When you switch to the front-facing camera in the camera app on this phone, the whole module will flip up, and allow you to use all three cameras as selfie shooters.
The device will not include a display camera hole or notch
That’s probably why this phone doesn’t have a display notch or a display hole on the front. The only question that remains is… how thick is the device’s bottom bezel. We’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out.
The source claims that the device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 865. Do note that the ‘Pro’ model is also rumored, and that device is said to include the Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC.
Both devices will support 5G connectivity, in case you were wondering. The ASUS ZenFone 7 will feature a 6.67-inch fullHD+ display, according to the source. That will be an LCD display, if rumors are to be believed.
This phone will also include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Two SIM card slots have also been mentioned by the source. The last piece of spec info shared here has to do with the phone’s cameras.
The ASUS ZenFone 7 will feature 64, 12, and 8-megapixel cameras on the back. We’re presuming that those are its regular camera, ultrawide unit, and a telephoto camera, respectively. We cannot be sure, though.
