The ASUS ZenFone 7 hands-on video has just surfaced, and it reveals a lot. In this video, you’ll not only see the whole design of the phone, but also its flip camera in action. On top of that, various different parts of the phone’s software can be seen on the screen.
The ASUS ZenFone 7 hands-on video reveals the phone's entire design, pretty much
This hands-on video surfaced on YouTube, and it has a duration of around 5 and a half minutes. This video gives us a first look at the phone’s front side, actually.
The phone’s back surfaced in real-life images yesterday, but not its front. Well, You can now see that the phone will feature thin bezels, and no display camera hole or notch.
That’s because that flip camera is included here. You can clearly see that there are three cameras included on it, along with an LED flash. The flip camera itself works similarly to the one on the ASUS ZenFone 6.
It is motorized, and it usually sits on the back of the phone. Once you activate the selfie camera, it will flip to the front. Those are not the only two positions for it, though. You’ll be able to use it in various different angles thanks to the camera app.
This flip camera will also be able to capture a landscape shot by stitching several images together, and it will capture those shots on its own, while you hold the phone steady.
The device has a side-facing fingerprint scanner
The phone seems to be made out of metal and glass, and you’ll notice that a fingerprint scanner is not located on the back. Its fingerprint scanner sits on the right, it’s a regular capacitive sensor.
The phone’s back is curved towards the sides, as you can see. The phone showed here is silver-colored, though ASUS will probably offer several different color options.
The ZenFone 7 is expected to come in two variants, a regular and ‘Pro’ models. Those two variants will be extremely similar, if rumors are to be believed. The ‘Pro’ model is said to offer more RAM (8GB compared to 6GB), and more storage.
The Snapdragon 865 will fuel the ZenFone 7, while the ‘Pro’ model will be equipped with the Snapdragon 865 or 865 Plus. Both devices will feature a 6.67-inch display, and it will probably be an LCD panel.
ASUS will utilize a 60Hz display on this handset, almost certainly. Android 10 will come pre-installed on the device, while 64, 12, and 8-megapixel cameras will be included.
You can also expect to get stereo speakers here, by the way. That’s all the information that we have at the moment. The phone is expected to launch tomorrow, so stay tuned.
