The OnePlus Nord design has finally been revealed, and it’s kind of official. The images that you’ll see in this article have been picked up from Amazon India, so we’re looking at official marketing materials.
The OnePlus Nord design revealed by Amazon listing and tipsters
The first image that is of interest is shown below this paragraph. It basically confirms that the phone will have a flat display. It also confirms that it will feature thin bezels.
Unfortunately, though, we can’t see its display camera hole(s) here, the image is not sharp enough. There should be two display camera holes included at the top.
The phone’s button on the side looks to be almost flush with the phone’s body. That could indicate that the phone will include a side-facing fingerprint scanner, rather than an in-display one. The other image shares a different story, though.
The phone has rounded edges, and its frame is made out of metal. You can see that it sports chamfered edges, which is quite interesting.
The image below this paragraph shows the back side of the device. This image is also not sharp enough for us to see the number of cameras, but at least three are included. There are probably four included on the back, though.
OnePlus’ logo is visible on the back, as is ‘OnePlus’ branding below it. You can also see that the button on the side protrudes a bit more than the first image indicates. This could mean that, after all, we may see an in-display fingerprint scanner. We’ll have to wait and see.
You'll find glass on the back of this phone
The phone’s back is curved towards the edges, by the way, that is clearly visible here. The phone’s camera module is vertically-oriented, and the cameras are vertically-aligned.
The OnePlus Nord will launch soon. July 10 has been touted as the launch date, but we’re expecting it to arrive around July 15. Its pre-order period lasts until July 15, so it makes sense.
The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 765G 64-bit octa-core processor. It will support 5G connectivity, and as you can see, it will be made out of metal and glass.
The OnePlus Nord will not be a small phone, at least not based on these images. The device is expected to sport a fullHD+ OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. Check out our preview for more information.
UPDATE: The third image appeared just as I was wrapping up this article. You can check it out below this paragraph, and it confirms that the phone will sport a dual selfie camera. Those two cameras will be placed in the top-left corner. It also confirms that an alert slider will be placed on the right.
