Google has now officially announced the free games in July for Stadia Pro members. And they all look like they'll be a blast to play.
In addition to the free games for Stadia Pro members coming in July, there's also a new game that was just released today. It's called Wave break. If you haven't already checked out the trailer from the announcement about the release date, do yourself a favor and give it a peek.
It's an 80s Miami Vice era skateBOATing game that plays just like an arcade skateboarding game. You can do tricks like kickflips and grinds, jam out to a wicket 80s new wave soundtrack, and even customize your boats and characters.
The gameplay is a lot like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater in a couple of ways. For one, you'll need to collect the letters for words relating to the game. Something which was common a lot in the Tony hawk games. You'll also need to collect various items around the levels. Overall it's plenty of fun and worth a look.
The Stadia Pro free games in July will include four titles
There will be four free games for Pro members this month. This includes SteamWorld Dig – A Fistful of Dirt, which is the only game currently available on the platform out of the four.
The other three will be brand-new titles launching the day they're made available for free. Which will be next Wednesday, July 1. The remaining three games will be Crayta, West of Loathing, and Monster Boy And The Cursed Kingdom.
Crayta will be a game where you can essentially create games within the game. You can then share these with the Stadia community and you can all play together thanks to the upcoming State Share feature.
Monster Boy And The Cursed Kingdom is a 2D side-scrolling action adventure game. It's from the same series as Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap that launched on Android in May of last year.
Lastly, West of Loathing is an RPG with a Wild West theme and hand-drawn stick figure characters. It's also filled to the brim with funny moments as the developers wanted the game to make players laugh.
New Pro deals arrive alongside two other new games
Two other games have joined the Stadia lineup today alongside Wave break. Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux. Both are available for purchase as of today for $19.99 each. So now Stadia subscribers will have the opportunity to play the entire series on the platform.
Speaking of Metro Exodus, Google is now offering it at a discount as one of this week's new Pro deals. You can grab the standard edition for just $16. There are discounts on the gold edition and the DLC content as well. And Football Manager 2020 is down to $25 for Pro members.
Borderlands 3 is also getting some new content this week. Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood will be launching on Stadia on June 25 for $14.99
