He’s assuming these will be the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra specs based on the information he collected to this point. This is also not a full list of specs, by the way.
A tipster shared possible Galaxy Note 20 Ultra specifications
According to Mr. Weinbach, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will feature a 6.9-inch WQHD+ LTPO display with 120Hz refresh rate. This info is probably spot on, as a well-known analyst shared the same information.
The device will include 12GB or 16GB of RAM, depending on what version you get. It’s possible that the ‘Ultra’ model will only come with 16GB of RAM, though. We’ll see.
The source claims this phone will sport a 4,500mAh battery, and support 45W fast charging. That will probably be its wired charging, while it will support wireless charging as well. Its wireless charging won’t be so fast, though.
The Snapdragon 865 will fuel the device in the US and China, while the rumored Exynos 992 will do the same in India and Europe. It seems like Samsung won’t utilize the Exynos 990 here.
Mr. Weinbach also says that the device will ship with an improved S Pen stylus, and “better sensors”. He added that a 108-megapixel main camera will sit on the back, and be backed by a 13-megapixel periscope camera. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera will also be included, along with laser autofocus.
The phone will not include a 3D TOF camera, it seems
It seems like Samsung will be trading in a 3D TOF camera for laser autofocus, as rumors have been suggesting. A 40-megapixel camera will sit on the front side of the phone.
An in-display fingerprint scanner will be placed on this phone as well, Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. That scanner will be the same as the one on the Galaxy S20. It will hopefully be a bit faster, though.
A display camera hole will be the same size as the one on the Galaxy S20 series. The device will include stereo speakers, and mmWave 5G connectivity. There you go, those are the possible Galaxy Note 20 Ultra specifications.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is expected to arrive alongside the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20+. At first, reports were claiming that the ‘Ultra’ model won’t launch at all, but that name got trademarked by the company. So… it seems like it’s coming.
The Galaxy Fold 2 is also expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Note 20 series. All those devices may arrive on August 5, if the latest report is to be believed.
