It's time to throw on your nicest polo and lace up those golf shoes because PGA Tour 2K21 is coming to Stadia in August.

Google officially announced the news earlier this morning that 2K Game Studios would be bringing the franchise to the platform. It shouldn't have been too much of a stretch to see this game make its way to Stadia, given that NBA 2K20 is already available and has been since the launch of Stadia last Fall.

The Stadia YouTube channel has also dropped the announcement trailer for the game, which you can view below.

Stadia will get PGA Tour 2K21 On August 21

The date of release on Stadia is certainly no accident. The 21st day of August for the 2021 version of the game. It's a brilliant marketing move to be honest, and players will surely take notice.

Though the game releasing on August 21 isn't just a Stadia thing. PGA Tour 2K21 will be releasing on Stadia on the same day as it releases on other platforms. In addition to Stadia, it will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

When the game launches it'll retail for $59.99. It should be the same cost across all platforms. But PC tends to have deals on its digital games quite often, even if they're new titles. So expect to see some pre-order savings on the PC versions of the game that bring the price down even if only a little bit.

There will be a Deluxe Edition of the game too

While the game will cost $59.99, that's merely for the Standard Edition of the game. 2K will also be releasing a Deluxe Edition on Stadia which will retail for $69.99.

There's no mention of what the Deluxe Edition will include. But if there's a season pass for the game it will more than likely include that, along with some form of in-game premium currency that can be spent on stuff. Or perhaps additional content like different players or customization items.

Aside from the new game announcement from 2K, Stadia also finally released its version of DOOM 64. Anyone that bought DOOM Eternal on Stadia before April 3 will get DOOM 64 at no charge. Those that did not can pick up the classic for $4.99.

There's also a new round of deals available for members to take advantage of. You'll find games like Assassin's Creed Odyssey, The Crew 2, and NBA 2K20 on sale for way less than their normal prices. So be sure to check those out if you've been itching to pick up a new game.
