The HONOR X10 is now official. The company has announced it in China, and it brings exactly what we expected. This device leaked quite a few times before its launch, so it hasn't exactly been a secret.
The HONOR X10 is made out of metal and glass, and it comes with a flat display. The phone includes really thin bezels, and a pop-up selfie camera. Thanks to such a setup, a display notch / hole is not present.
There are three cameras placed on its back, and they are located in the top-left corner. They're all a part of the same camera module, and that camera module does protrude a bit. HONOR's logo is also placed on the back.
The HONOR X10 includes a 90Hz display, Kirin 820 SoC, and more
The company claims that the HONOR X10 offers a 92-percent screen-to-body ratio. The device features a 6.63-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) LCD display, with 2.5D curved glass on top of it. That is a 90Hz display, by the way.
The Huawei Kirin 820 SoC fuels this phone, and it supports 5G connectivity. The device includes 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and each of those two variants are equipped with 128GB of storage.
You can expand the storage on this smartphone up to 256GB, if you want. Android 10 comes pre-installed on the device, along with HONOR's Magic UI 3.1.1 skin. This phone has a hybrid dual SIM setup, by the way.
A 4,300mAh battery is also included in the package, and it supports fast charging. You'll be getting 22.5W fast wired charging here. Do note that wireless charging, and reverse (wireless) charging is not available.
Bluetooth 5.1 is a part of the package, as is a Type-C USB port. The phone includes a side-facing fingerprint scanner, which doubles as its power / lock key.
Three rear-facing cameras are also included
A 40-megapixel camera (Sony's IMX600 sensor, f/1.8 aperture) is the phone's main camera. In addition to that, HONOR included an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera (f/2.4 aperture), and a 2-megapixel macro camera (4cm, f/2.4 aperture).
A 16-megapixel pop-up camera is also a part of this package. That camera comes with an f/2.2 aperture lens, by the way.
The device measures 163.7 x 76.5 x 8.8mm, and weighs 203 grams. The phone comes in Black, Blue, Orange, and Silver color variants. Its pricing starts at CNY1,899 ($267) for a 6GB RAM variant with 64GB of storage.
The variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will set you back CNY2,199 ($309), while the variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs CNY2,399 ($337). The phone will go on sale in China starting on May 26, and it will probably arrive to Europe as well, soon.
