Sprint's OnePlus 7 Pro 5G is finally getting the Android 10 update. An Android 10 update for the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G in general, has arrived to the US about a month ago. That happened shortly after the EE version started getting it in the UK.

OnePlus had promised that this update will arrive to the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G variant in Q1 this year, and the company fulfilled its promise. After unlocked variants, carrier models are also getting the update.

If you did not get a notification for this update on your Sprint unit, try heading to Settings and checking manually. Once you're there, navigate to 'System', and then 'System updates'.

Android 10 for Sprint's OnePlus 7 Pro 5G is finally here, it's rolling out as we speak

It is possible that the update will not be available yet, as this is a staged rollout. If that is the case, you'll just have to be patient. All users should get this update within a week.

If something goes from in the meantime, and Sprint decided to pull the update, then that's a different story. If everything goes to play, though, you'll all have it soon.

This is essentially the same design that the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G got a month ago, and that the regular OnePlus 7 Pro got a couple of months ago.

You'll get a brand new version of Android and OxygenOS. You'll see some new design elements in the UI, some new features, and a ton of changes under the hood.

The company has enhanced location permissions for privacy in this update, while there are also some new customization options now. You will see a specialized customization menu in the Settings.

There, you will be able to choose icon shapes displayed in Quick Settings, color schemes for OxygenOS, icons packs, text fonts, and so on.

New full gesture navigation options are also available

The company has also added some new full gesture navigation options. Google's navigation gestures controls are available here, but with a twist. OnePlus allows you to remove the bottom bar, and swipe up and to the side to move between apps. It's your call.

Those are the most notable changes, though there are quite a few additional ones, of course. This update is quite a bit late for Sprint's OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, but better late than never.

The OnePlus 7 Pro (5G) is still one of OnePlus' high-end devices, but new ones are on the way. The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will, allegedly, launch on April 15.
