Sling TV is offering free content right now, but if you want to make the switch to their service, you can also get a free Fire TV Stick.
We've detailed Sling TV's 'Free Experience' already, and it is adding more content almost every day. But if you want the whole experience, you'll still want to subscribe to Sling TV.
If you click here, then scroll down to the bottom of the page, where it shows the Fire TV Stick offer, then click on 'Get This Offer', you'll be able to get started. It'll ask you to either sign in or create an account. This depends on whether you are a current/former or existing customer. Then select your package and you'll be able to get your free Fire TV Stick.
After you add your payment information, it'll allow you to start streaming Sling TV. It will email you a code to get your free Fire TV Stick from Amazon. And then you're all set.
Now unfortunately, you can't take advantage of the $10 off for your first month. And you also can't take advantage of the free trial with this offer. But for $60 for the first two months, you get access to Sling TV and a Fire TV Stick that is normally $39.99. So that's not a bad price at all.
Sling TV has two plans: Sling Orange and Sling Blue. These have 30 and 45 channels respectively. Now Sling Blue has more channels because it has all of the Fox-owned channels. While Sling Orange has all of the Disney-owned channels. There are many that are the same in both packages. But if you want all of the channels – which is about 50 – it'll cost you $45 instead of $30. Still not a bad price, when you think about it.
Now what really sets Sling TV apart is the fact that it is a la carte. So there are different add-ons that you can add and customize your lineup. Most of the add-ons are around $5 to $10 per month. Perhaps the best add-on is the "Total TV Deal" for $20. It adds Cloud DVR Plus, Sports Extra, Kids Extra, News Extra, Comedy Extra, Lifestyle Extra, Heartland Extra, Hollywood Extra. That's seven add ons that would cost you a whole lot more.
