The OPPO Find X2 will become official tomorrow, and OPPO's VP has just promised great battery life. The company's VP went to Twitter to share the news.
In a new tweet, he says that he managed to get 7.9 hours of screen on time on the pre-production model of the OPPO Find X2. He managed to achieve while QHD+ screen resolution was set, and in 120Hz refresh rate mode.
The OPPO Find X2 will not only offer great battery life, but extremely fast charging as well
He also mentions that 'intelligent refresh mode' can get you 10-percent more battery life. Mr. Shen also mentioned SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging, just to remind everyone that the Find X2's battery can be topped off extremely quickly. We're talking about 65W fast wired charging here.
If these numbers end up being accurate, the OPPO Find X2 will truly have great battery life. It seems like OPPO found a way to use QHD+ resolution in 120Hz mode without killing the battery in the process.
Mr. Shen also demonstrated 120Hz refresh rate on the device via its Twitter profile. He simply wanted to highlight how much smoother a 120Hz display is compared to a 60Hz one. You can see that in a video provided below this paragraph.
The OPPO Find X2 will arrive in two variants, a regular model, and a 'Pro' variant. Both devices are expected to include QHD+ displays, though the one on the 'Pro' model will be larger.
As you can see in the video that Mr. Shen published, the Find X2 series will include a display camera hole in the top-left corner. Both phones will feature curved displays, and really thin bezels.
Both devices will be fueled by the Snapdragon 865 SoC
The Snapdragon 865 will fuel both of those phones, while you can expect some powerful cameras on the back. The 'Pro' model will even include a periscope camera on the back.
Android 10 will come pre-installed on both smartphones, and on top of that, you'll get the latest version of OPPO's ColorOS Android skin.
Based on the specs that leaked, and everything we've heard thus far, the Find X2 phones will be quite powerful. This will be the best OPPO can offer at the moment, so that's not surprising.
In addition to the Find X2 smartphones, OPPO will also announce its first smartwatch tomorrow. That watch will be called the OPPO Watch, it seems, and its design had been revealed by the company quite recently.
That smartwatch is expected to ship with Wear OS out of the box, and it seems like it will resemble the Apple Watch quite a bit. It will not have a crown on the side, though.
