A new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 concept design has surfaced online, and it presents a less slippery phone with a flat display. This concept design comes as a result of a partnership between a Concept Creator and Letsgodigital.
The design has been presented in both video and image formats. The video format has been published via YouTube, and that video is embedded below this article. Images have been shared by Letsgodigital.
This Galaxy Note 20 concept comes with a flat display, non-glass back
Now, if you take a look at this design, you'll see it's a bit different than what you may expect. This phone comes with a completely flat display. You'll also notice a display camera hole here, which is centered.
The phone has chamfered edges on its frame, as its frame seems to be made out of metal, Surprisingly enough, it doesn't seem like the back of this phone is made out of glass.
There is some sort of a textured back applied to its back, and it seems to be leather or something of the sort. It's quite weird to see a design like this, but that's probably not a bad thing. If Samsung opts for something like that, the phone will be considerably less slippery.
The power / lock key is placed on the right-hand side of this phone. The volume up and down buttons are located on the left, and they're completely separate.
This Galaxy Note 20 concept design not only has a flat display, but it also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom. There are three cameras placed on the back of this device as well.
A periscope camera is placed on the back of the device
One of those three cameras is a periscope-style camera, like the one we've seen on the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The designer opted for a horizontal camera setup here, and that camera module protrudes on the back. An LED flash is also included.
Samsung's logo is clearly visible on the back of this concept smartphone. You can also see the S Pen stylus here, and also a dedicated place inside a phone for that stylus.
The Galaxy Note 20 is expected to arrive in at least two variants. Samsung will probably announce the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Pro when the time comes. The company could opt for an 'Ultra' model as well, though, we'll see.
The Galaxy Note 20 series is expected to arrive in August this year, so we're still quite far away from that launch event. Along with the Galaxy Note 20, the company will probably announce the Galaxy Fold 2 as well.
The real Galaxy Note 20 will probably look considerably different from this concept design. Samsung will probably utilize glass or ceramic on the back, while various other design elements will be different. The real thing could resemble this device a bit, though, of course.
