The Motorola Edge+ will include a 108MP camera on the back, in addition to two other sensors
That’s not all, the source also claims that two other cameras will be included on the back, a 16-megapixel unit, and an 8-megapixel camera. A 25-megapixel camera sill sit on the front side, inside the display, as the device is expected to sport a display hole in the top-left corner.
The source also suggested that the display camera hole may be larger than recently-leaked renders indicated. OnLeaks partnered with Pricebaba recently to reveal the Motorola Edge+ design, by sharing CAD-based renders.
Those renders showed a really tiny punch hole on the front. Well, that hole could be a bit larger than initially shown, but we’ll see who will be right in the end. OnLeak is usually spot on with those images.
That 108MP camera that will be included on the back of the Motorola Edge+ will probably be provided by Samsung. It will probably be the company’s ISOCELL sensor.
The device will be made out of metal and glass
The Motorola Edge+ is expected to arrive in the near future, but we still do not know when exactly. The device will be made out of metal and glass, and it will include extremely thin bezels.
It will also sport a curved display, and a rear-facing LED notification light. That notification light will be placed around the company’s logo on the back, and will be circular, if leaked renders are to be believed.
The phone’s cameras on the back will be vertically-aligned, and protrude quite a bit. By the looks of the device, you can expect the Motorola Edge+ to be quite slippery.
Motorola has not released a flagship-grade phone for quite some time now. The company has been sticking to releasing budget offerings, so it will be quite interesitng to see what will the company do with this flagship.
The device is rumored to be fueled by the Snapdragon 865, which is to be expected for a flagship. It will also include a 6.67-inch fullHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate.
Its battery will be larger than 5,000mAh, one rumor suggested that we’ll get a 5.170mAh battery here. That battery will almost certainly support fast charging.
The device will offer up to 12GB of RAM, we’re expecting to see 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. Motorola is expected to include LPDDR5 RAM here, along with UFS 3.0 or UFS 3.1 flash storage.
