OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro leak 1

It seems like OnePlus will announce its new flagships sooner than expected. This information comes from Ishan Agarwal, a well-known tipster. He claims that the OnePlus 8 series will launch in late March or (early) April.

The OnePlus 8 & 8 Pro will launch in late March or early April

That’s not the only piece of news that Mr. Agarwal shared, though. He also confirmed that both the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are coming, and that both will be available in a new, Green color.

The source also shared a teaser video for the two phones. This is a very short teaser, and we’re not sure if it’s made by a third-party or OnePlus, but chances are it’s the former. You can check it out below this article.

Considering how early OnePlus 8 rumors and leaks kicked off, legit ones, we did presume that they’ll come before May. Well, it seems like OnePlus is aiming to launch them about a month or two ahead of schedule.

The source said that the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are coming, but he’s not sure about the 8 Lite. The OnePlus 8 Lite did pop up in several rumors / leaks, but it’s unknown what are OnePlus’ plans with that phone.

Regarding the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, both devices surfaced already. The two phones will look extremely similar one to the other, though the OnePlus 8 will be smaller.

Both devices will ship with the Snapdragon 865, and 120Hz displays

Both phones will be fueled by the Snapdragon 865 SoC, and both will probably support 5G. OnePlus will probably offer 4G variants as well, depending on the market. At least that’s what we’re expecting, we’ll see.

Both devices will offer extremely thin bezels, and curved displays. A display camera hole will be placed in the top-left corner of both phones, if the latest leaks are accurate.

OnePlus had already announced its QHD+ 120Hz display, and that panel will be included in the OnePlus 8 Pro. The OnePlus 8 is rumored to sport a fullHD+ 120Hz display.

Android 10 will come pre-installed on both phones, along with OnePlus’ OxygenOS UI. Both phones are rumored to include IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, but we’ll see if that will happen.

What we are expecting at least the OnePlus 8 Pro to offer is wireless charging. OnePlus has joined the WPC (Wireless Power Consortium) quite recently, more or less confirming that at least one of the two phones will offer wireless charging.

Both phones will include Warp Charge as well, OnePlus’ proprietary fast wired charging. That is more or less it, for now. Mr. Agarwal will probably share more information soon.
