The iQOO 3 is the very first smartphone from the brand to reach markets outside of China. This signifies the global debut of the brand (Vivo's sub-brand), and the IQOO 3 definitely seems like a compelling phone.
This handset has been announced both in China and India today. The brand did not share any information regarding its availability in other regions, but we'll see what will happen. We're expecting it to arrive to more regions as this is a 'global launch' of the device. So, it would be weird if it gets limited to India.

In any case, the IQOO 3 is quite an appealing phone from the design perspective. This handset is made out of metal and glass, while it offers really thin bezels. Its bottom bezel is the thickest, and it's only a hair thicker than the rest.
The phone does include a display camera hole, it's located in the top-right corner of the display. The power / lock, volume up and down buttons are placed on the right. There is an extra physical key on the left, which is customizable.
IQOO's logo is placed on the back of this phone, along with the phone's rear camera module. That camera module is placed in the top-left corner, and it includes four cameras. More on that soon.
This handset features a 6.44-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. This display has support for HDR10+ content, and Schott Xensation UP glass protection.
The Snapdragon 865 fuels the device, while the phone includes 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. On top of that, the brand included 128GB / 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Android 10 comes pre-installed on the device, along with iQOO UI 1.0. There are two SIM card slots on this phone (2x nano SIM), while a 3.5mm headphone jack is also included.
The device comes with a 4,440mAh battery, and 55W fast charging
The phone features an in-display fingerprint scanner, an optical fingerprint scanner. You'll also find a 4,440mAh battery here, which supports 55W Super FlashCharge fast charging. Bluetooth 5.1 is also included.
On the back of the device, you'll find a 48-megapixel main camera (Sony's IMX582 sensor, f/1.79 aperture, EIS). That camera is accompanied by a 13-megapixel telephoto unit (f/2.46 aperture, 20x digital zoom), and a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera (f/2.2 aperture, macro photography support). On top of all that, the brand included a 2-megapixel depth sensor as well (f/2.45 aperture).
A single 16-megapixel camera (f/2.45 aperture lens) is placed on the front side of the phone. This handset got announced in Volcano Orange, Quantum Silver, and Tornado Black color variants.
The pricing for this device starts at Rs. 39,990 ($557) in India, though it remains to be seen how much will it cost elsewhere, presuming it arrives to other markets, of course.
