Today, you can pick up an unlocked LG G8 ThinQ on sale for just $499 from Amazon.

That's good for $100 off of its regular price on Amazon – as this is a Prime Exclusive smartphone. That makes this a pretty good price for a new smartphone.

This is a Prime Exclusive smartphone, which means you do need to be a Prime member to get it. You can sign up for a 30-day free trial here. But that does not mean that there are ads on the phone. In fact, there are only a couple of apps pre-installed. Like Amazon and Alexa.

The LG G8 ThinQ is a high-end smartphone from LG. Sporting a 6.1-inch Quad HD+ OLED display, the Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is also a micro SD card slot available for expanding storage, should you need a bit more space.

It's a very capable smartphone, and it does still have a dual camera setup. With a main sensor and an ultrawide. For the G8 ThinQ, LG decided to drop the telephoto and leave that on the V series. Which is fine, as you do still get the ultrawide which is definitely more useful. The front has a Time of Flight sensor that is used to get better selfies, but also for some weird gestures that you'll probably never use.

The LG G8 ThinQ is unlocked, and can be used on all four US carriers. That includes AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon in the US. Just simply pop in your SIM card and you're going to be ready to rock and roll.
