UFC 246 takes place this Saturday, January 18, and it'll see the return of Connor McGregor as he takes on Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone in the main event.
After over a year away from the UFC, McGregor is finally making his way back to the octagon. And it's sure to be a big one.
McGregor has proven to be a big draw in the world of mixed martial arts, as well as the boxing world. As he took on Floyd "Money" Mayweather in the boxing ring back in August 2017. McGregor did lose, which many expected, given how good Mayweather is. But that was one of the most watched boxing matches in quite some time.
Now McGregor is back in the UFC, having only had one fight in the past four years (not counting the boxing match).
Who else is fighting on the main card?
There are four other fights on the main card, as part of the PPV this time around. That includes Holly Holm vs Raquel Pennington, Maurice Greene vs Aleksei Oleinik, Claudia Gadelha vs Alexa Grasso and Diego Ferreira vs Anthony Pettis.
These are the five fights that you'll get when you pay for the pay-per view from ESPN+.
It's shaping up to be one of the best PPVs that the UFC has put on in quite some time.
How can I watch UFC 246?
UFC 246 will be broadcast on both ESPN and ESPN+. The early prelims will start at 6:15pm ET and be broadcast on ESPN+. While the prelims at 8pm ET move over to ESPN.
Of course, the main card (that's the part of the event that you'll need to pay for) starts at 10pm ET and that will be exclusively on ESPN+.
The PPV is going to cost $64.99 for ESPN+ subscribers. If you're not an ESPN+ subscriber already, you'll have to pay a bit more, $84.98. But that does include a year of ESPN+ for only $20. That's much lower than the $60 that it would normally be.
