The Jabra Elite 45h Seeks To Upend The Sub-$100 Headphone Market

The Jabra Elite 45h wireless headphones are now official. Boasting 40 hours of battery life, and ultra-fast charging getting you eight hours of playback in just 15 minutes of charge time.

According to Jabra, the Elite 45h is setting a new standard for headphones, with this model costing less than $100.

The Elite 45h still boasts two microphones for crystal clear calls, and the ability to block out the background noise when on said calls. There’s also support for your favorite voice assistant within the headphones.

Jabra MySound will make the Elite 45h sound even better

This is a feature that is new for the Elite 45h. It is optimized for a truly personalized experience. To get started, users connect the Elite 45h to the Jabra Sound+ app, and then take a test that comprises of different beeps. After that test is complete, the headphones will calibrate to each users’ unique heading profile.

MySound is going to give you the best sounding EQ based on your personalized feedback. This is a really cool feature that we’re hoping to see launch on more headphones in the near future.

Jabra says that the Elite 45h are the first headphones to get this feature, with the Elite 75t and Elite Active 75t getting them in the second quarter.

Jabra isn’t playing around with this sub-$100 market, with the Elite 45h. These offer up, as we already mentioned, 40-hours of continuous playback, along with ultra-fast charging that gets you eight hours of playback in just 15 minutes.

There is also 40mm drivers inside each earpiece which is going to provide some really great sounding audio. With crisp mids and highs and some pretty powerful bass. And with the aforementioned MySound feature, you can really turn up the bass.

With Bluetooth 5.0 available, you’re going to get better connectivity, and better battery life on your smartphone.

As if that was not enough, Jabra is also offering up support for Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Siri. It’ll be based on what your phone is using. And there’s one-touch access to your favorite assistant.

Pricing & Availability

The ultra-lightweight Jabra Elite 45h are coming out pretty quickly after CES is over. Jabra says that these will be available starting in February 2020. And these will be available from Amazon, Best Buy and Jabra.com. With five colors available: Titanium Black, Navy, Black (Best Buy Exclusive), Gold Beige and Copper Black (Amazon Exclusive).
