The Huawei P40 series will arrive in five different color options
The Huawei P40 and P40 Pro will be available in Black, Blush Gold, Silver Frost, Deep Sea Blue, and Ice White (with gradient finish) color options.
If you take a look at the provided image, you'll be able to see the Huawei P40 Pro in all those variants. It seems like only the Ice White will be gradient, as the source reports.
Both of these phones will be made out of metal and glass, but they won't be identical. The Huawei P40 will include a flat display, while the P40 Pro will ship with a curved panel.
Both phones will include a pill-shaped display camera hole on the front. That hole will be placed in the top-left corner of the phone's display. Bezels on both phones will be minimal, even though this image does not show them.
The Huawei P40 will sport three cameras on the back, while the P40 Pro will include five. Leica's lenses will be a part of both phones, by the way.
The Huawei P40 series will launch at the end of March in Paris. We still do not know the exact date, but the information has been confirmed by the Huawei Mobile CEO.
Android 10 will come pre-installed, but without GMS
Android 10 will come pre-installed on both devices with EMUI 10, but both phones will ship without Google services due to the US ban. Things may change by then, but at the moment, it seems like that will be the case.
The Kirin 990 will fuel both phones, and it comes with an integrated 5G modem. Both devices will include OLED displays, and plenty of RAM, while several storage options will be available.
The Huawei P40 is expected to feature a 6.1-6-2-inch display, while the P40 Pro's will be between 6.5 and 6.7 inches. The 'Pro' model is expected to include a periscope-style camera on the back.
Along with these two phones, Huawei may introduce its new foldable phone. The Huawei Mate Xs is rumored to arrive in February or March (globally), and it is essentially an updated variant of the Mate X.
That is more or less all the info that we have at the moment. More Huawei P40 and P40 Pro information will surface soon, so stay tuned.
