Best of CES 2020: Honor MagicWatch 2

Honor MagicWatch 2 Award

There are so many different smartwatches out on the market these days and tons more are announced at CES generally every year.

There were quite a few announced at CES this year as well. But, the one that captured our attention the most was one that was officially announced at the tail end of last year, and merely globally announced this week.

We’re talking about the Honor MagicWatch 2. A smartwatch that isn’t running on Wear OS, has an elegant style to it, and a nice amount of meaningful features. Which is why we picked the Honor MagicWatch 2 our Best Of CES 2020 device for smartwatches.

The Honor MagicWatch 2 will hold a charge for up to two weeks

Any smartwatch that can last for quite a long time deserves some attention. Not just because it gives you one less thing to worry about charging every night.

But also because you know that your device will work for days. So it gives you some peace of mind when it comes to whether or not it’ll work when you put it on in the morning.

This is one thing that the MagicWatch 2 has on much of the competition. The battery in it will last for up to two weeks on a single charge. Where many smartwatches will last maybe a few days.

Feature-packed and ready to help monitor your health

The Honor MagicWatch 2 has loads of useful features. Many of which you can find on other smartwatches, but also one or two that you probably can’t. Or at the very least can’t find on many options.

For the MagicWatch 2, the health and wellness monitoring features are ones to look out for. For example, it’s equipped with the TruSleep 2.0 technology which can track six different types of common sleep disorders.

The watch can also recommend suggestions on your sleeping habits to help you improve them and get a better night’s rest.

There’s also the TruRelax technology that makes suggestions on breathing exercises to help you relax. And of course it has the standard health-related features that most watches have. Like tracking your heart rate, counting steps and the like.

It has 15 different fitness modes too. Including running, hiking, cycling and more. It comes in multiple styles as well, so there’s likely to be one tailored for everyone’s tastes.

Honor has made plenty of great devices before, but the MagicWatch 2 is one that really takes things to another level for the brand. This is a big reason why we found the Honor MagicWatch 2 worthy of our Best of CES 2020 award.
