The Fitbit Versa 2 is now cheaper than it was on Black Friday. That's pretty impressive. Especially considering the Versa 2 just came out a couple of months ago.
Normally $199, the Versa 2 was $149 on Black Friday, and now it is just $129. That's good for $70 off of its regular price. This also makes it a really great time to pick one up.
The Fitbit Versa 2 is the latest smartwatch from the company. It took what it did well with the original Versa, and fixed what it didn't. It's now a bit smaller and thinner, so it doesn't feel so weird on your wrist. It also boasts slightly longer battery life. We're looking at around five days on a single charge. That's pretty decent, and much better than the Apple Watch – which is lucky to get you through a full day.
With the Fitbit Versa 2, you're going to get notifications on your wrist, but not all of them. This is because it doesn't run Android, nor supports all of the apps on Android. You'll get text messages and call notifications and that's about it. Which can be very useful for some people. There are also a number of apps available like Spotify for storing songs offline, as well as United for showing your boarding pass and much more.
On the fitness side of things, the Fitbit Versa 2 is able to track your workouts automatically. This includes walking, running, the elliptical, HIIT and much more. It is also waterproof, so you can take it in the pool, and it'll track your swimming too. Which is a really nice feature to have on a fitness tracker.
You can pick up the Fitbit Versa 2 from Amazon today for just $129. Or you can get the "Special Edition" with one of the woven bands for $159 (still $70 off), from Amazon by clicking here.
