Xiaomi is getting ready to launch quite a few new devices on November 5. The company confirmed that the Mi CC9 Pro will become official on that date. In addition to that, Xiaomi will announce a new Mi TV, and the Mi Watch is also rumored to arrive.
Xiaomi confirmed that the Mi CC9 Pro and Mi TV 5 are coming via Weibo (Chinese social media network). The company released several posters which confirm the aforementioned information.
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro and Mi TV 5 are coming
The Mi CC9 Pro and a new Mi TV were expected to arrive, as both got certified in China recently. Both devices popped up at the 3C authority in China.
In one of its posters, Xiaomi confirmed that the Mi CC9 Pro will feature five cameras on the back. All those cameras will be vertically-aligned, and one of them is really small. That small camera will probably be in charge of capturing depth, so it's possible it's a ToF sensor.
Based on this, the phone will be made out of metal and glass, and three of its five cameras will protrude on the back. Based on the image the company shared, the phone will actually include two sets of dual-LED flashes. That is something that you don't see often, that's for sure.
The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro will include a 108-megapixel sensor on the back, and that will be its main camera sensor. The phone is also expected to offer 5x optical zoom, which will be a first for Xiaomi.
The device will probably be fueled by the Snapdragon 730G 64-bit octa-core processor. This suggests that the phone will belong in the mid-range category.
A 108-megapixel camera will be included on the device
In addition to a 108-megapixel camera on the back, the phone is also expected to include a 13-megapixel ultrawide unit, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. We still don't have any info on the two remaining cameras on the back.
A 32-megapixel camera is expected to sit on the front side of the device. Android 10 will probably come pre-installed on the device, along with MIUI 10.
Some rumors suggested that a 40-inch Redmi TV may become official along with the Mi CC9 Pro, but that won't be the case, it seems. Xiaomi is actually planning to announce its Mi TV 5 series on November 5.
We still do not have any info on that TV lineup, unfortunately. Chances are, however, that Xiaomi will announce several variants of that TV.
No info is available on the Mi Watch either. Some rumors are suggesting that it will run Wear OS, and that is quite possible as a recent Wear OS app did reveal mentions of Mi Wear and Mi Watch names.
