The Ulefone Armor X5 is the Armor X3 with 4G LTE and updated specs
The Ulefone Armor X3, which was announced several months ago, did not support 4G connectivity. Well, Ulefone wanted to amend that with the Armor X5.
4G connectivity is not the only difference between the two phones, though. The company updated the spec sheet for the Armor X5, as you’d expect.
This handset is fueled by the Helio P23 64-bit octa-core processor, which is a considerable improvement over the MT6580 64-bit quad-core chip.
Ulefone also updated RAM on this device, from 2GB to 3GB. The internal storage is still set at 32GB, while the camera has been improved as well. The Armor X5 features 13 and 2-megapixel cameras on the back, and a 5-megapixel unit on the front.
HD+ display, Android 9 Pie, and a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging
The device features a 5.5-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display, and it is IP68/IP69K certified for water and dust resistance. Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on this device, by the way.
A 5,000mAh battery is also a part of the package, and it supports 10W (5V/2A) charging. Facial scanning is enabled on the device via its selfie camera. The company claims that the device can scan your face and unlock in 0.2 seconds.
The Armor X5 includes two SIM card slots. These are two nano SIM card slots, and the phone supports dual standby. The second SIM card slots can be used as a microSD card slot as well. Bluetooth 5.0 is a part of this package as well.
The Armor X5 does look like a rugged device. The phone has a rather tough outer shell, and its overall shape is a bit different to most smartphones out there. It actually looks like it has small ears up top, while that design is proportional on the bottom as well.
Its cameras on the back are vertically aligned, and a dual-LED flash sits right next to them. A fingerprint scanner is not included on the phone.
The Armor X3 comes in Black, Red, and Orange color variants. The phone measures 158 x 77.5 x 13.85mm, and weighs 235 grams.
This phone is available for purchase via Banggood for only $99.99. If you’d like to purchase one, or are interested to know more about the Armor X5, consult the links down below.
