Ulefone is continuing with its Armor 3W and Armor 3WT promotion. The latest promo video that the company released shows off the Armor 3W and 3WT durability. These two handsets are rugged smartphones, so they're expected to be quite durable.
This video has a duration of about a minute and a half, and is embedded down below. The very first test the company included in it, shows off the phone's drop resistance.
Ulefone conducted a number of Armor 3W durability tests
The company's employee first drops the phone to concrete, and then slides it on concrete. The device worked just fine afterwards.
Another drop test has been performed after that, while it was raining. The Armor 3W and 3WT really show their durability, as they can handle being throw on rocks as well, it seems. Wet sand doesn't really make much of a challenge for these two phones, and neither does regular dust.
Ulefone even decided to step on the Armor 3W(T) with a car, and the phone(s) managed to survive without a problem. This handset is both IP68/IP69K certified for water and dust resistance, and comes with MIL-STD-810G certification. That really shows in these tests.
These two phones are almost identical, which is why they're referred to as the same phone in this "violence test", as Ulefone refers to it. The only difference between these two phones is the inclusion of an antenna slot on the Armor 3WT.
The Armor 3WT can become a walkie-talkie, if you need it to be, all you need is an external antenna. Other than that, these two phones are completely identical when it comes to the design and specifications.
Rugged phones with Helio P70, 6GB of RAM and 10,300mAh battery
Both devices are made out of metal, for the most part. Both devices do look rugged, and includes a single camera on the back. Bezels are quite thick on these two smartphones, though that's not surprising, they are rugged phones after all.
Both devices come in Black and Orange colors. The two phones are fueled by the Helio P70 64-bit octa-core processor, while Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed. Both phones include a 5.7-inch fullHD+ display, 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage.
A 21-megapixel camera sits on the back of these two phones. A single 8-megapixel camera can be found on their front side. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is also included in the package, while both devices support facial scanning as well.
A 10,300mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it supports fast charging. It supports MediaTek's PE+2.0 fast charging (9V/2A).
The two phones are available for $239.99 and $279.99 at the moment. They are still up for pre-order, until the end of the day. Starting from tomorrow, their price tags will increase, so if you're interested, buy them today. Links are available down below.
