UFC 241 comes your way this Saturday, August 17. And it is going to be exclusive to ESPN Plus.
The pay-per-view will cost current ESPN Plus subscribers $54.99. Though, if you are not a subscriber already, you can still get the PPV. It’ll cost you $79.99, and that comes with a year of ESPN Plus included. That’s a big deal, because you’re getting a year of the service for nearly half the price. And, ESPN Plus also has a boat load of non-PPV UFC content available. As well as plenty of other sports and original series.
UFC 241 looks to be one of the biggest PPVs of the year so far. It’s headlined by Daniel Cormier Stipe Miocic in a Heavyweight Title match on the main card. The Main card also has Anthony Pettis vs Nate Diaz in a Welterweight boat for the co-main event. There are three other matches that are part of the main card. Showing you that you are definitely getting your money’s worth this time.
Considering the main card usually has about three matches, sometimes four, you’re getting your money’s worth with UFC 241.
The early pre-lims start at 5PM ET, with the prelims starting at 8PM ET and the Main Card at 10PM ET. The early prelims and prelims are available for free on ESPN+ (the prelims will be on ESPN as well). The $54.99 for the PPV is actually for the main card only, not the prelims.
One of the big stories going into this PPV this weekend, is whether this might be Daniel Cormier’s (or DC’s) last fight. Cormier put those rumors to bed last week. He once had a timeline for when he was going to retire. But as of right now, he wants to go out on his own terms. Cormier stated that “I’ve long said I don’t want to be a guy that goes out on my back.” He also mentioned that a lot of the greatest champions leave the sport on their back, leaving as former champions. That’s now how Cormier wants to leave the UFC.
Cormier wants to leave on his own terms, and by the sounds of things, it looks like this won’t be his last fight. Seeing as he is currently the Heavyweight Champion, he could walk away as champion right now. But he’s not done.
UFC 241 is only going to be available on ESPN Plus this coming Saturday. You’re going to want to make sure that you order your pay-per-view before Saturday, so you can beat the rush of everyone else buying it. You can purchase the PPV from ESPN Plus using the link below (or by clicking here). If you’re an ESPN Plus subscriber already, you can also purchase it from the app on your TV, smartphone, tablet, or your computer.
ESPN Plus is a really good subscription service for those that love sports, particularly the UFC. It has a few original UFC shows with Dana White, where it is looking for the next group of UFC fighters. And of course, Fight Night is also available ESPN Plus every month.
