Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Comparison vs Note 10+ & The Differences

Samsung had introduced the Galaxy Note 10 today and we will do a Samsung Note 10 Comparison, and for the second time in the Galaxy Note lineup’s lifespan, the company opted to introduce two smartphones. The first time that happened was back in September 2014, when the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge were presented.

This time around, the company opted to introduce the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+. These two smartphones are quite similar in a number of ways, but the Galaxy Note 10+ is the company’s crown jewel at the moment. The device delivers some advantages over the regular model, and to see what those differences are.

Samsung Note 10 Design-wise, they’re quite similar

The Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ look extremely similar, so Samsung Note 10 Comparison is very similar. In fact, there are only two differences design-wise. The first one can be noticed when the two phones sit one next to the other, as the Galaxy Note 10+ is the larger of the two devices. The Galaxy Note 10 features a 6.3-inch display, while the Galaxy Note 10+ includes a 6.8-inch panel.

The second difference in the looks department can be seen on the back, as the Galaxy Note 10+ includes more cameras than the regular model. The Galaxy Note 10 features three cameras on the back, which are vertically-aligned, while the Galaxy Note 10+ comes with four units. On top of the three cameras that are included in the Galaxy Note 10, Samsung opted to include a DepthVision Camera in the Galaxy Note 10+.

Pretty much every other part of the design is the same. They both include curved displays, extremely thin bezels all around, and that easily-noticeable display camera hole that is centered this time around, but still lies at the top of the phone’s display.

Note 10 CPU, RAM & Storage

In the processor department, the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are completely identical. The European and Indian models are fueled by the Exynos 9825, while the US and China models comes with the Snapdragon 855. Those are both flagship-grade processor, amongst the best in the market.

The Galaxy Note 10 comes with less RAM than the Galaxy Note 10+, it includes 8GB of RAM, while the Galaxy Note 10+ sports 12GB of RAM. Just to be clear, we’re talking about LPDDR4X RAM here.

The two phones are quite similar in terms of storage, both come with 256GB of internal storage, but the Galaxy Note 10+ is also available in a 512GB flavor. We’re looking at UFS 3.0 storage here, in both cases, the fastest one available at the moment. Those of you hoping to expand storage in either of these two phones, well, you’re out of luck, as neither one has a microSD card slot.

Samsung Note 10 Display, Battery & Camera

Initial Galaxy Note 10 rumors suggested that both models will include QHD+ displays, but that’s not the case. The Galaxy Note 10 comes with a fullHD+ panel, while the Galaxy Note 10+ includes a QHD+ display.

Both devices do feature Dynamic AMOLED panels, though, and both of those displays offer a 19.5:9 display aspect ratio. Both panels are curved as well, in case you were wondering. Samsung has also opted to include Gorilla Glass 6 protection on both displays, the latest one available from Corning.

As expected, battery sizes in these two smartphones are different as well. The Galaxy Note 10 includes a 3,500mAh unit, while the Galaxy Note 10+ sports a 4,300mAh battery. Only the Galaxy Note 10+ supports 45W fast charging, but you'll have to purchase that charger separately if you'd like to reach such charging speeds, as it's not included in the box. The Galaxy Note 10 supports 25W wired charging. Both devices do offer wireless charging as well, 12W wireless charging for the Galaxy Note 10, and 15W for the Galaxy Note 10+.

The things are almost completely identical in the camera department, both devices include a 16-megapixel rear-facing, and two 12-megapixel rear-facing cameras. On top of that, you’ll find a single 10-megapixel unit on both phones. The difference is, the Galaxy Note 10+ includes a DepthVision Camera on the back as well, while the Galaxy Note 10 does not.
