The OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro arrived back in May this year, and their successors may arrive a bit sooner than some of you expect. According to a new piece of information, the OnePlus 7T series will in October, which is not surprising, as the OnePlus 6T arrived in October last year, but the date itself is different.
This information comes from Max J., a well-known tipster. He shared an image on Twitter, and that image contains the October 15 date. The source notes that this is a OnePlus related leak, and even though he did not specifically says OnePlus 7T series, that's what he means.
Max J. also notes that the image provided here is not a leak of the device or anything of the sort, just a concept image, that's it. The whole reason he published this is the provided date, which, as far as he can tell, is accurate.
The OnePlus 6T arrived on October 29 last year, which means that the OnePlus 7T series will drop about two weeks sooner than that. OnePlus is constantly moving up the date of its "T" series launches, as the OnePlus 5T was introduced on November 21, 2017.
We still do not know if both the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro will launch, or is OnePlus planning to launch only one of the two devices. Many people assume that both will arrive as the company launched two OnePlus 7 handsets, but we'll see.
As far as OnePlus 7T rumors and leaks are concerned, well, there aren't many. The alleged OnePlus 7T Pro leaked two times thus far, but both of those leaks turned out to be fake, as those were the OnePlus 7 Pro prototypes.
The OnePlus 7T series will probably be fueled by the Snapdragon 855 Plus, which is the latest flagship processor that Qualcomm announced. The Snapdragon 855 Plus is essentially the Snapdragon 855, but a bit faster, it's not a completely brand new generation of a flagship processor.
Chances are that the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro will look similar to their predecessors as well. OnePlus managed to create a phone with almost no bezels with the OnePlus 7 Pro, so the company will probably build upon that with the OnePlus 7T series. If two devices get announced, it's possible that the smaller phone will include a design more similar to the large one, in other words, the OnePlus 7T may include a pop-up camera as well.
If we had to guess, we'd say that the OnePlus 7T will keep a fullHD+ display, and a flat display at that, while the OnePlus 7T Pro will keep its curved QHD+ panel. It is still unknown as to how OnePlus plans to differentiate with its upcoming T series smartphones, but the company probably has a rather clear idea on how to do that.
Some rumors actually indicated that the OnePlus 7T series may include an under-display camera that Xiaomi and Vivo have been working on (Vivo is OnePlus' sister company), but that's not as likely. The OnePlus 8 may include one next year, but that's a big if. In any case, chances are that Vivo will introduce a phone with such a camera first, before OnePlus does.
