Amazon has dropped the price of the JBL Xtreme 2 Bluetooth speaker today, in its Labor Day sale, bringing it to just $220.
That’s down from its regular price of $299.95, and it’s also one of the few times that we’ve seen the Xtreme 2 go on sale at all.
The JBL Xtreme 2 is a really great Bluetooth speaker to pick up. Firstly, because it is waterproof. So you can dance (or sing) in the rain, and not worry about killing your speaker. It’s rated at IPX7, for those that might be wondering.
It can also be connected to other JBL speakers using JBL Connect+. That will allow you to connect up to 50 speakers together, and have a pretty epic experience, if we’re honest.
The Xtreme 2 is made out of durable fabric, so even if you did drop it, the speaker wouldn’t break. Also another big feature for this speaker. And that’s because it is a much larger speaker.
Speaking of its size, the Xtreme 2 is pretty large, compared to other Bluetooth speakers. The reason for this is because it has a lot more oomf for its audio quality. So expect this to get a lot louder, and also have some really good sound quality. That makes this a really great speaker to use outdoors too.
It’ll have the audio quality that you’d expect from JBL. So it’ll be the same sound signature that you get from other speakers like the Flip 4, or the JBL Pulse. Just a bit louder and perhaps a bit better. That means that you’ll get deep bass, as well as some crystal clear mids and highs. Which is always a good thing for a speaker.
