Amazon has discounted the iRobot Roomba 671 robot vacuum today, and today only. It's part of its Gold Box Deal of the Day, and will expire at midnight PST tonight. So you're going to want to jump on this one quick. It's priced at $229.99 today, which is down from its regular price of $349. Making this a really great time to pick one up.

The Roomba 671 is a pretty good robot vacuum. It's part of their mid-range lineup, which explains why it is normally only about $349 – considering some of the other Roomba vacuums out there are priced up to around $800-$900 each.

It does still feature all of the things you'd expect from iRobot. That includes the iAdapt navigation system. This will allow the robot vacuum to map out your home and make sure that it cleans up all around your home, without missing any spots. Some might think that iRobot sells this data to third parties, but that is not true. The data is used solely for the vacuum to clean up your home and that's it.

The 3-stage cleaning system is also here. Allowing the Roomba 671 to loosen and then suck up all of the dirt, hair and anything else that might be on the floor in your home. It does a really good job, thanks to the two front spinning brushes and then the larger middle one that does all of the sucking.

Of course, we can't forget about Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. As iRobot's robot vacuums are compatible with both. This is going to allow you to tell Alexa or Google Assistant to have the Roomba start cleaning your home. You can even tell it to clean a specific part of your home as well. Which is a really nice feature to have.
