If you've been on the fence about buying a new Galaxy S10 smartphone, well Samsung might have a new promotion that will get you off of that fence.

Right now, if you purchase the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e or Galaxy S10+, Samsung will give you a Gear Sport for free. And this works for all variants of the Galaxy S10, including the unlocked version. If you are on T-Mobile, you can stack this with the free Gaming Bundle it is offering for the T-Mobile variant of the Galaxy S10.

Basically, the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e and Galaxy S10+ are not discounted, they still are priced at $749, $899 and $999 respectively. But where things get enticing is with the free gifts. The Gear Sport is not the newest smartwatch from Samsung, but it does still cost about $250, depending on where you are looking. Making this a pretty good free gift. And even if you don't want it, you can sell the Gear Sport once you get it, and pocket that money.

The Gear Sport is the last "sport" style Gear smartwatch that Samsung made, before moving to the "Galaxy" name late last year. It's still a really good smartwatch and does get updates.

As you might expect, the Gear Sport does act as a fitness tracker first and a smartwatch second. It is able to track all of your movement and workouts throughout the day, so you can see how well you are doing with hitting your goals. It is also waterproof now, so you can use it to track your swimming as well.

On the smartwatch side of things, it is able to bring your notifications to your wrist. It's running Tizen and not Wear OS, so there aren't as many apps available as there would be on Wear OS, but that is likely a good thing. Getting notifications on your wrist is really all we need from smartwatches. You can use apps like Samsung Health, Uber and more though.

The Galaxy S10 lineup is pretty robust this year. There's definitely something for everyone, including a somewhat "cheap" model that ditches that curved Quad HD+ display for a flat full HD+ display, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. And that is the Galaxy S10e. For the most part, these all sport the same specs. The Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ sport 8GB of RAM, the Snapdragon 855 and 128GB of storage. Meanwhile the Galaxy S10e has 6GB of RAM, but the same Snapdragon 855 and 128GB of storage. The main differences here are in the screen size and battery. If you like a smaller phone, then the Galaxy S10e is going to be the one for you.
