The Optoma UHL55 Projector Has True 4K Support & It's $500 Off

optoma uhl55 deal AH

Amazon has the Optoma UHL55 4K HDR projector on sale today for just $999. That’s good for $500 off of its regular price, making this a really great deal for those that are looking to add a projector to their home entertainment system.

This projector is a true 4K projector, so it’s not a faux 4K projector like many of the others on the market, and that explains why it is a grand. It’s 1500 lumens, so it’s going to be pretty bright too, great for those that watch movies on this during the day as well (with the blinds closed of course).

Optoma has added both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant support to this projector, which makes it a pretty impressive one to pick up. You can use your voice to turn on the projector and adjust things like the volume and the brightness. This is going to be a great projector to use outside this summer, and watch some movies.

This does not run Android or Android TV, like Anker’s projectors do. Instead it has its own OS which still has apps like Netflix and Hulu available, so you can stream your favorite movies and TV shows on this projector and with 4K HDR support, it’s going to look good too. There’s no Dolby Vision support, but it does have DCI-P3 color support. So you’re getting a pretty bright and colorful image out of this, but not quite on the Dolby Vision or HDR10 level.

If you spend a lot of time outdoors, or just want a projector in your home since it takes up less space than a TV, then this is the one to get, and where it is currently $500 off of its regular price, it’s going to be hard to beat this price. You can pick it up from Amazon using the link below.
