This Is How Much Parts Inside The 6GB OnePlus 7 Pro Cost: Leak

The OnePlus 7 Pro is the most powerful smartphone from the company now available in the market, and if you've been wondering how much parts inside of this phone cost, well, some data just leaked.

This information leaked on Weibo (Chinese social media), and it is not confirmed in any way, so take it with a grain of salt. According to this info, parts inside the 6GB RAM variant of the OnePlus 7 Pro with 128GB of storage cost $324.21.

The OnePlus 7 Pro includes Samsung's QHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, and it costs OnePlus a bit over $80 to get each of those panels. The triple camera setup on the back of the phone, on the other hand, costs OnePlus $27.29 per each unit.

A 6GB LPDDR4X RAM chip inside the phone is priced at $26, while 128GB of storage costs $20. The Snapdragon 855 is the second most expensive part of the device, after its display, as it costs OnePlus $70 per unit.

Do note that these are only price tags of each individual part of the device, as money spent on research and development, costs of assembling each device, packaging, shipping marketing… and everything else are not included here. Still, OnePlus is probably earning quite a bit of cash considering that the 6GB RAM variant of the OnePlus 7 Pro is priced at $669. The most expensive variant of the phone is priced at $749, by the way, and it comes with 12GB of RAM.

Now, for comparison's sake, parts inside the 256GB iPhone XS Max cost $443 according to a previous report, and considering the price tag of that phone, Apple is making quite a bit more cash than OnePlus per unit… though that was to be expected.

Unlike OnePlus and Apple, Xiaomi is the king of "value for money" business policy, as it's keeping its net profit margins no higher than 5-percent per unit, this was confirmed by the company's CEO, Lei Jun. The company's CEO also said that the company will find other ways to compensate its consumers if any particular device provides them with a higher profit.

The OnePlus 7 Pro was announced back in May, and it was made available that very same month. So, it has been available for purchase for a while now. The OnePlus 7 Pro is made out of metal and glass, and it includes a pop-up selfie camera. Due to that fact, its bezels are quite thin, while its display is curved, which makes this the company's first smartphone to sport such a display.

The phone features a 6.67-inch QHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, which is also HDR10+ compatible. Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on the phone, along with OnePlus' OxygenOS skin.

The phone also includes stereo speakers, and a 4,000mAh battery, which supports OnePlus' proprietary 30W Warp Charge fast charging. The device also includes two SIM card slots, Bluetooth 5.0, and everything else you'd expect out of a flagship smartphone in 2019.
