Amazon has the Nokia 7.1 for just $249 today. That is good for $100 off of its regular price, and also brings it down to its all-time lowest price. That makes it a really great time to pick one up, especially if you're looking for a decent phone that's not going to cost an arm and a leg.
The Nokia 7.1 is a pretty impressive phone for its regular price, but now at $249, it's an even better value. It sports a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display, with an iPhone Xs-like notch at the top. That's where you'll find the 8-megapixel front-facing camera as well as the earpiece. On the backside, there is a 12-megapixel main sensor, with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor included as well.
Inside the Nokia 7.1, there's a Snapdragon 636 chipset, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. That might seem like pretty low specs, but Nokia smartphones are all Android One devices, with pretty much stock Android. Meaning that there's not a bunch of bells and whistles in the software, that would normally need more RAM and a faster processor to work. But that's not the case here. And with 64GB of storage, you'll get more usable storage too.
This is a GSM unlocked smartphone, so it'll work on AT&T and T-Mobile in the US. Unfortunately, it does not support CDMA, so Sprint and Verizon customers are out of luck here. But if it does work with your carrier, all you need to do is slide in your SIM card and you're good to go.
HMD Global, the company behind Nokia smartphones, has also been pushing out software updates pretty quickly and religiously in the past couple of years. So expect to get several updates, and even Android Q on the Nokia 7.1, Which is great to see.
