The Microsoft Surface Headphones is a somewhat divisive product. On the one hand they are very capable headphones that come with a nice design, and feature noise-cancelation, but on the other hand, they do typically retail for $350 in the U.S.
Right now, however, few would argue with recommending these headphones as Amazon has dropped the price down to $189.99 for Prime Day 2019. At this price, and for what you get, these are suddenly well worth checking out.
The Microsoft Surface Headphones are not as good as the Sony WH-1000XM3 which is where their value normally falls considering the Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones cost around the same. In fact, the Sony WH-1000XM3 are also on sale for Prime Day but they've only been discounted by $52. As a result, and even at the sale price the Sony headphones are still a clear $100 more than the Microsoft Surface Headphones – that's how much of a discount has been applied to these headphones.
Adding to their value, these headphones provide up to 15 hours of use based on a single full charge, come with Cortana support for access to voice assistant functionality, can connect to a multitude of devices thanks to the Bluetooth support, and come with a lightweight design for all-day use.Microsoft Surface Headphones - Amazon - $189
