Marvel Future Fight is a game that' been around for a while now, but despite its age of more than a few years on the Play Store it continues to offer up fresh content for the players thanks Netmarbles ongoing updates that breathe new life into the game to keep it alive and keep the fun going. The latest, an update which is centered around the new Spider-Man: Far From Home film, adds in some new playable characters as well as new costumes for existing ones and a whole lot more.
While characters like Spider-Man based from the film and Mysterio (a seemingly helpful personality in the film and a well-known villain in the comics) were already available in the game the new Spider-Man: Far From Home update is adding some new costumes for both those characters that players will be able to collect and wear proudly as they fight back the enemies of humanity.
The costume for Mysterio will be "inspired by" the one from the film, though that probably means it'll look the same as the one Mysterio wears in the movie. Spider-Man meanwhile will get the film version of his costume that players can wear in addition to the stealth suit.
As for the new characters there will be three that are added as part of this update to the game. Two of which can be seen in the image above. Both Hydro-Man and Molten-Man are joining the villains roster in Marvel Future Fight alongside one of the most iconic villains in the Spider-Man universe and one of the Sinister Six – Electro.
If this wasn't already enough the update seems to have jam-packed a bunch of other tweaks and features into the game, starting with new abilities being added for characters such as Dr. Strange with his new Ultimate Skill, and the Realize Potential feature for Hydro-Man, Molten-Man, Mysterio, Lizard, and Spider-Man 2099 among others.
Speaking of Spider-Man 2099, the update also includes a new uniform for his character. There are other changes included too, like the ability to upgrade your characters with crystals from level 15 and beyond, and it's now possible to join the Battle Practice mode even if there is a daily limitation on entering world events, which could prove useful if you wanted some time practicing with a new character you just acquired.
Overall this wasn't an update which added an expansion's worth of new content to the game, but there certainly are loads of features and changes to improve the gameplay and game quality in general. Marvel Future Fight is an RPG, so if this will be your first time jumping into the game there's tons and tons of story to follow and quite a bit of character progression.
With over 190 different heroes and villains to collect, the game also kind of feels like a gacha RPG of sorts. The new update for Marvel Future Fight was officially launched today in conjunction with the release of Spider-Man Far From Home in theaters this afternoon, which means the update should be live for everyone where the game is available.
