Battlewake Weekend Closed Beta Code Giveaway [Updated]

Update: We've received a few extra keys and will continue to pass them out before the end of the day on Sunday, 7/21. Be sure to Tweet the #ahbattlewake hashtag and we'll send you a code (as supplies last, of course)!

Looking for something fantastic to do this weekend? We've got some Battlewake beta codes to give away that'll keep you playing all weekend long during the special first closed beta of Survios' latest VR game. Coined the Battlewake Warfare Weekend, this special closed beta allows players to join together in four-player multiplayer co-op in the Warfare game mode, battling through several missions together.

Players choose between four different pirate lords, as well as four different ship types, each with their own special abilities and ultimate attacks, on-board weapons and various abilities. Weapons and ships can be upgraded over time, making this one seriously rewarding game.

Combat is arcade-style and is designed to keep players focused on the fun. Ships are steered by the wheel in front of you, and cannons and other weapons aim exactly where you point your hand. Special attacks are earned as players progress and include anything from summoning a maelstrom to suck enemy ships in, a giant wave to knock their ships around, spikes to destroy them, or even unleashing the Kraken to create ultimate havoc.

This Battlewake Warfare Weekend is available on Steam exclusively this time around but will work with any VR headset that's compatible with SteamVR. We've tested it both on the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift S and it works perfectly on both HMDs. If you're itching to get your hands behind the wheel of a massive pirate ship and become the ultimate pirate lord and want to play on Saturday, enter our short contest!

To enter the contest, share this article on Twitter with the hashtag #AHBattlewake and leave a comment below telling us why you're excited to play Battlewake. The winners will be announced tomorrow at 12pm PT (noon).
