Verizon is currently offering a BOGO sale on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. You can purchase one Pixel 3 and get up to $800 off of the second. Basically, if you get two Pixel 3 smartphones, one will be "free" but if you get two Pixel 3 XL smartphones, the second one will be nearly free. You'll end up paying about $100 on that second smartphone.
As always with these promotions, you are going to need to buy these phones on Verizon's installment plan. This is because Verizon does give you that "free" Pixel 3 through monthly bill credits. If you decide to leave Verizon before the two years are up you will end up paying the leftover amount, and forfeit those bill credits. So if you leave before two years, you won't get the Pixel 3 for free.
The other caveat on this deal, is the fact that you will need to add a new line to get the second Pixel 3 for free. If you are looking to add a line anyways, then this is a good deal to take advantage of.
The Pixel 3 has been pretty notorious for having plenty of issues. The good thing is, Google has fixed the majority of those issues now though. So you can pick up this phone and not worry about all of the issues it had. It is also going to be able to run Android Q, in fact it's in the beta right now. So if you want a phone that is going to get updates, then this is definitely a good phone to get.
Google offers two Pixel 3 models, the smaller one has a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display, powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There is also a 2915mAh capacity battery included, that will keep the phone running all day without needing to charge it.
The Pixel 3 XL runs the same internals, but has a larger 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display, and a 3430mAh capacity battery. The same Snapdragon 845, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage are also included here.
What really sets the Pixel 3 apart from the competition right now, is that camera. It's a pretty impressive camera, even though there is just a single camera on the back. It does also have Night Sight now, which is going to make taking photos at night pretty impressive - it will bring out things that you can't even see in real life, which is crazy.
This BOGO on the Pixel 3 isn't going to last long, so you'll want to take advantage of it before it's gone. If you don't need to add a line, you can still save $300 on a Pixel 3, when you trade-in your phone. It's not a free phone, but that is a good chunk out of the regular price of the Pixel 3. The Pixel 3 is $799 and the Pixel 3 XL is $899. It is available in clearly black, just white and not pink, there's no Verizon exclusive colors this year.
