Top 8 Best Bluetooth Headphones - June 2019

Bluetooth headphones have really taken off in the last couple of years, largely due to many smartphone makers ditching the headphone jack. Bluetooth headphones are great, and you can get a pretty decent pair for not a whole lot of cash. But which Bluetooth headphones are the best to pick up? Well we have rounded up the very best Bluetooth headphones that you can buy right now, and here they are.

Sony WH-1000X M3

The Sony WH-1000X M3 are another great pair of wireless headphones. In fact, some might say that they are the best pair that are currently available.

These headphones have some insane noise cancellation, you won't hear a single thing around you. But there is also ambient sound available, so that when you do want to hear some noise, you can do just that. This way if you're on a plane, you can block out the plan noise, but not block out the flight attendants voice, so you can get your wine.

Sony also packed these with some pretty impressive battery life. We're looking at over 30 hours on a charge, which is going to be enough to get you through a couple of days. If you turn off noise cancellation, you can likely get a bit more battery life out of these.

The Sony WH-1000X M3 are not cheap, coming in at $349, but they are definitely worth the price.

Bose SoundSport Wireless Headphones

Bose is another name that is well-known for its audio quality, and that carries onto their wireless headphones. The SoundSport Wireless are a better option than the SoundSport Free, which are the truly wireless models. You're still getting some pretty incredible audio quality out of these, thanks to Bose' attention to detail. The mids and highs are still crystal clear, with the bass being pretty boomy but not overpowering.

The Bose SoundSport Wireless will get you around six hours of continuous playback, which isn't a whole lot, especially compared to others on this list. But it should get you through a workout or two. Bose does offer the SoundSport wireless in a few colors, including black, yellow, blue and red.

Bose makes pairing easy with the SoundSport Wireless. As they can be paired by simply tapping them to your phone, thanks to NFC. It is also sweat resistant, making these great for the gym.

You can pick up the Bose SoundSport Wireless for just $119 at Amazon using the link below.

Jabra Move Style Edition

If you are looking for a good pair of on-ear headphones, then look no further than the Jabra Move Style Edition Bluetooth headphones. These are a really great option for a lot of people.

Jabra offers up some really good sound quality, which is not a surprise for most people. These are also lightweight so that they don't feel super heavy on your head, which is also pretty nice. And of course, the battery life is somewhat decent. We're looking at about 14 hours on a charge here. These also come in a variety of colors, so no matter what color you're looking for, you'll be set with these.

The Jabra Move Style Edition are actually on sale for $66 right now, and you can pick them up from Amazon using the link below.

Sony SP700N Truly Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones

For good measure, here's a pair of truly wireless headphones from Sony for the list. These are perhaps the best pair of truly wireless headphones on the market right now. That is because they do offer some really good sound quality, fit well in the ear and also have decent battery life - compared to other truly wireless headphones.

These truly wireless headphones do hang out of your ears a bit, which may be uncomfortable for some, but they really don't feel like they will fall out of your ears. The sound quality on the SP700N is also pretty good, these are part of the EXTRA BASS lineup. So the bass is boomy, while the mids and highs are still crystal clear. If there's one thing that Sony is good at, it is definitely sound quality.

When it comes to battery life, these will last you between four and six hours of continuous playback. If you turn off noise cancellation, it will of course last a bit longer than if it is on. You can put them into the included carrying case and have them charge on the go. The case will charge them for about two cycles before it needs a recharge.

You can pick up the Sony SP700N Truly Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones from Amazon using the link down below. They are available in a few colors, including black, blue, pink, white and yellow. These are priced at $179, but the blue color is $139 for some reason.

Anker Soundcore Spirit X Bluetooth Sports Headphones

This pair of headphones from Anker are slightly more expensive, but do offer up a batter experience, both in terms of audio quality and battery life. Making it a much more worthwhile pair of headphones to pick up. And they are still one of the cheaper options on this list.

The Soundcore Spirit X Bluetooth Sports Headphones offer 12 hours of continuous playback, and also have noise isolation, so you are able to get noise cancellation (sort of). These are also great for taking to the gym, as they are rated at IPX7 for sweat resistance. So you can sweat as much as you want, and these will still work perfectly fine.

Anker uses 10mm drivers on the Soundcore Spirit X, allowing you to get better sounding audio out of these headphones, and also some better bass. Its patented BassUp technology is not included here, however. But it is a much better experience than the SoundBuds Slim.

You can pick up the Anker Soundcore Spirit X Bluetooth Sports Headphones from Amazon using the link below, they are currently priced at $35.99.

COWIN E7 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones

The COWIN E7 are the silent killer in this list. These offer just about everything that the Sony WH-1000X M3 wireless headphones offered, but at a much, much cheaper price. Coming in at around $60 - and usually under $50 when they go on sale.

These are active noise cancelling headphones that are also very comfortable to wear. Typically these big headphones like this are pretty heavy, and therefore not as comfortable to wear for many hours on end. Speaking of which, the battery life here is pretty impressive too. We're looking at around 30 hours on a charge, and if you turn off ANC you can get even more.

COWIN E7 only really falls short in the audio quality department. But it's not that big of a deal to be honest. If you're an audiophile, you'll notice, but other than that, you won't notice a difference.

You can pick up the COWIN E7 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones from Amazon using the link below.

Sennheiser HD 4.40 Around Ear Bluetooth Wireless Headphones

If you're an audiophile, this is the pair of headphones to get. Hands down.

Sennheiser is well-known for its impressive sound quality, and the HD 4.40 are no different. These are not flashy looking headphones, but these do the job. They offer some really crisp mids and highs as well as some boomy bass, all without overpowering the mids and highs, which is also important. Battery life is still pretty impressive here, coming in at around 25 hours on a single charge. Now there is no noise cancellation here, but that won't matter much since these are around-ear headphones.

The Sennheiser HD 4.40 also come with a headphone cable in the box, so if you do want to plug them into your phone or laptop, that is also a possibility. Especially a good thing if your headphones run out of juice, you can just plug them in and still use them.

You can pick up the Sennheiser HD 4.40 from Amazon using the link below, they are currently priced at $95.

Wrap Up

Bluetooth headphones are definitely convenient. Being able to just put them on and not worrying about plugging them in, is very convenient, especially if your phone doesn't have a headphone jack now. But the audio quality has definitely suffered, when it comes to Bluetooth headphones. That is because wired is always going to be better in that regards. Similar to how you can get faster speeds when you are using a wired internet connection versus WiFi.

However, there are a couple of headphones on this list that do definitely sound really good over Bluetooth. And they book-end this list. The Sony WH-1000X M3 and the Sennheiser HD 4.40's. These are both really great pairs of headphones that are worth picking up, and for their prices, you really can't go wrong - especially with the Sennheiser model. Seeing as it is under $100.

When it comes to Bluetooth headphones in general, you really can't go wrong with any of the options on this list. Of course, the COWIN E7 are going to be the best option for most people, due to the price, and the fact that the battery will last up 30 hours on a charge.
