The OUKITEL K12 was recently made available for pre-order for $239.99, and the company has just released a new promo video for the device. This time around, OUKITEL published a teardown video of the OUKITEL K12, while the company's employee also puts the phone back together afterwards.
This video is supposed to show you that the OUKITEL K12 is not that difficult to disassemble, and then put back together, and it's also supposed to give you a peek inside of the device, just in case you're interested to see where everything is located. The video itself has a duration of about seven minutes, and it is embedded below this article.
Unlike with most teardowns as of late, you do not need a heat gun and a pry tool in order to get the OUKITEL K12's back cover off the device. This phone's teardown is a bit different. You will need to remove a ton of screws which are holding the phone in place, as screws are located all over the device.
First, you can remove screws from the back of the device, then the metal plate that is placed on top of the phone's rear-facing cameras, and ultimately screws on the sides. Once you do all that, you should be able to remove the back of the phone, and access its internals.
The first thing you will notice once you do that is the phone's huge 10,000mAh battery. Though, the next step requires you to remove some extra screws in the upper portion of the device, so that you can access the battery and other internals. If you'd like to check out the whole video, it's included down below.
The OUKITEL K12 actually looks really interesting. You will find leather on its back side, along with metal, and the phone includes a waterdrop display notch on the front. The company's branding is visible on both the phone's front and back sides, and the device is actually easily recognizable due to its design.
This smartphone features a 6.3-inch fullHD+ display, while it also ships with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. Its 10,000mAh battery can be recharged using 5V/6A fast charging, and the company says that you can charge it from 0 to 100-percent in two hours and 20 minutes.
The MediaTek Helio P35 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone, while you will find 16 and 2-megapixel cameras on the back of the device. An 8-megapixel camera is included on the phone's front side, while Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on the phone. The phone is available in a black variant only, at least for now.
You can pre-order the OUKITEL K12 from AliExpress as we speak, the phone is priced at $239.99 during its pre-order period, but its price will go up once that is done, so if you're interested, you may want to act fast.
