Amazon has discounted the iRobot Roomba 690 robot vacuum, dropping the price down to $279. That does bring it back down to its all-time low. And you likely won't see it drop any further, when Prime Day hits next month. So now is a perfect time to pick one up.
The iRobot Roomba 690 is a really great robot vacuum to pick up, and might we say, the best robot vacuum under $300 (now).
This robot vacuum features iRobot's 3-stage cleaning system, which includes two multi-surface brushes that can pick up just about everything in your home. It also sports some pretty powerful suction. So if you do have pets, the Roomba 690 is going to be able to get their hair up pretty easily. This is great if you are semi-allergic to them, but love them to much to get rid of them.
iRobot's robot vacuums might be cheap (right now), but they do have a feature that other brands in this point don't have. Which is the ability to map out your home, and go back and forth to clean the entire room. Unlike the cheaper robot vacuums that will just go in a random pattern, and usually overlap areas of your home. This means that it is going to be able to clean your entire home and not miss any spots. Which is indeed important. You also can see where it has cleaned in the Roomba app, and tell it where you want it to go – maybe to the kitchen to clean up some flour.
This robot vacuum will run for around two hours before it needs to be recharged. Which should be long enough to get most houses clean.
