Amazon is discounting the Google Pixel 2 XL today, dropping the price down to just $281 for a refurbished version. That is still a pretty good price for a smartphone that is still very capable. It's a little over a year old, but it can still keep up with the latest flagships. Instead of spending a grand on a new smartphone, you can pick this one up for just $300 - and it still has one of the best cameras around.
The Pixel 2 XL has a 6-inch OLED display, with a Snapdragon 835 chipset and 4GB of RAM. Now that amount of RAM does sound pretty low in 2019, but it does work much better on the Pixel 2 XL than the Pixel 3 XL. Which is definitely a good thing to see. It still boasts a rather impressive camera, one that is still beating many of the $1,000 smartphones coming out now.
Additionally, the Pixel 2 XL can run the Android Q Beta, and will get Android Q when the stable version rolls out in August. Making this a really good option for a lot of people that don't need to spend a ton of cash on a new phone.
