UFC 237 is set to take place soon - on May 11. It's another big PPV that ESPN+ is going to be broadcasting exclusively.
Similar to the past few pay-per-views from the UFC, ESPN+ is offering some pretty good deals on this PPV. You can order the pay-per-view by itself for $59.99, which is actually $5 less than pay-per-view would normally cost. It's not much, but hey, you're still saving some cash. That is only good for those that already subscribe to ESPN+.
If you do not subscribe to ESPN+, you can sign up for a year of the service and get the PPV for just $79.99. That works out to about 12 months of ESPN+ for $20. Which is about a third of the regular price for ESPN+.
ESPN+ is already pretty cheap, coming in at $4.99 per month, but getting an even bigger discount on the service is something that everyone can appreciate.
UFC 237 is a pretty big PPV for the UFC. The main card has Rose Namajunas, the current Strawweight Champion, taking on challenger Jessica Andrade. This is bound to be a pretty big bout for the PPV as a whole, though there are some other pretty good fights taking place on the main card, including in the Middleweight division with Jared Cannonier taking on Anderson Silva. Over in the Featherweight division, there's Jose Aldo taking on Alexander Volkanovski.
As is the case with all of the UFC PPV's, there are the early prelims, the prelims and then the main card. The early prelims start at 5:15PM EST and will be available on ESPN and UFC Fight Pass. The Prelims start at 8PM EST and will be available on ESPN. While the Main Card starts at 10PM EST and will only be available on ESPN+. The PPV price of $59.99 is only for the main card, as the rest of the event is essentially "free" to watch.
For those that might be unaware, ESPN has invested pretty heavily in UFC, which is why they are getting so much UFC content for ESPN+ right now. The company is banking heavy on UFC being able to bring in subscribers and get people to sign up for its service. Which is a pretty good service, to be honest. It's a compliment to ESPN's other channels you can get on cable and other streaming TV platforms. So there's not a ton of content like what Netflix would offer, but there's plenty for $4.99 per month.
ESPN+ has a slew of baseball, soccer, NHL, NBA and many other games on its platform just about every single day. It also has a number of exclusive shows from Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and others. Some of these are studio shows, as well as pre and post game shows. ESPN+ is available on just about every streaming platform too. This includes Android, iOS, Apple TV, Android TV, Chromecast, Roku, and many more. So you can watch it anywhere.
