OUKITEL is planning to introduce a new smartphone with a rather odd name, the OUKITEL Y4800. This new handset will become official in June, and if you take a look at the provided image, you will be able to get some info regarding it as well.
This image reveals that the phone will include two vertically-aligned cameras on the back, with an LED flash located below them. Those two cameras will sit in the top-left portion of the phone's back, and the device will include curved sides on its back.
The image also confirms that the phone will ship with a 48-megapixel main camera, and we wonder if this is Sony's IMX586 sensor that the HONOR View20 and OnePlus 7 Pro use (along with some other devices), or a more affordable alternative to it.
The phone's volume up, volume down, and power / lock buttons will sit on the right, while the whole camera setup will protrude on the back a bit. This image does confirm that one of the colors the phone will be available in will be Gray, though chances are OUKITEL will announce more than one color variant.
The phone will be fueled by the Helio P60 64-bit octa-core processor by MediaTek, which is one of the company's mid-range processors. The OUKITEL Y4800 will also include 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.
In addition to that info that the image shared, the company actually shared some additional tidbits regarding this phone. We also know that the phone will sport a 5-megapixel secondary sensor on the back, while a 16-megapixel camera will be included on the front side of the device, and that camera will include a wide-angle lens.
The OUKITEL Y4800 will feature a 6.3-inch fullHD+ InCell LTPS display, and it will include a waterdrop notch. Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on this smartphone, the company has confirmed. That is pretty much all the info that OUKITEL shared.
We presume that the device will include a thin "chin" below the display, and that it will be made out of metal and glass. A flat display will be included on this phone, while it remains to be seen if the phone will sport a 3.5mm headphone jack or not.
This phone will be affordable, but it will not be one of the most affordable devices in the company's lineup. Based on the specs that OUKITEL shared, we can expect a really decent, mid-range phone here, and it will also sport a rather appealing, modern design.
OUKITEL is asking its consumers to join the conversation on Facebook, regarding this phone, just to see initial reactions, and how many people are interested in the device. If you're interested in joining, follow the link down below.
